Research Development & Strategic Initiatives
Research Development & Strategic Initiatives (RDSI) in the Office of Research leads activities related to developing faculty and student capacity for conducting research and scholarship at Kennesaw State University. The goal of RDSI is to guide and support researchers through the grant writing and external funding processes.
Through professional development workshops, individual consultation services, and customized programming, the staff provides assistance to faculty and departments in areas such as:
- identifying and assessing private and public funding sources to match interests;
- developing and/or refining research ideas;
- propopsal planning strategies; and
- editing and/or reviewing proposal drafts.
