"Embodying Process: Research To Application In Dance"

Marsha Barsky, chair of the Department of Dance in the College of the Arts, was the featured guest on April 1.

Marsha BarskyShe began her dance career in ballet as a child before exploring modern dance as a young adult.

In 2017, she was named Foreign Expert in Dance at Chengdu University, China. In May of 2020, she served as a visiting scholar at the Kroeger College of Public Affairs at Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.

Barsky, as a lifelong learner, is certified in GYROKINESIS®, A.T.I Alexander Technique, Reiki and teaching yoga. 

She received her MFA in Performance, Choreography and Somatics from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
