Description: What is an academic conference? What is the purpose of an academic conference? Why should you attend, and how can you make the best use of your time while at a conference? At this workshop you will learn how to navigate academic conferences. Amelia will show you what to wear, how to network, and what you should bring. This will all be useful for when you attend and present at the Symposium of Student Scholars and other conferences.
