The Center for the Advancement of Military and Emergency Services Research (AMES Research) at Kennesaw State University leads the development of solutions to complex occupational and behavioral health concerns that negatively impact military and emergency services personnel, their families, and the communities in which they live. We use cutting-edge, multidisciplinary scientific expertise to design and execute tailorable, scalable, and culturally aligned research. The AMES Research Center serves as the nexus for translational military and emergency services health and wellness research implementation in the state of Georgia.

The AMES Research Center at Kennesaw State University was established in 2022 with the primary goal to establish state and national partnerships that contribute to scientifically rigorous research and the development/refinement of evidence-based interventions to serve military and emergency services personnel, their families, and communities.

AMES Research Center performs a wide variety of research services, ranging from clinically informed research activities, data management, and outreach. Browse the website to learn more about each core group. Click here to learn more about the services offered by the AMES Research Center.
