Council on Undergraduate Research
The mission of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) is to support and promote high-quality undergraduate student-faculty collaborative research and scholarship. CUR is the only national organization devoted entirely to promoting undergraduate; there are thousands of members nationally and even internationally.
Kennesaw State University is an enhanced institutional member of CUR, which means that every member of the KSU community – faculty, students, staff, and administrators – can become an individual member for free. There are numerous benefits to joining – student benefits are listed here and faculty/staff/administrator benefits are listed here. Students, becoming a scholar in your field means joining professional organizations, and CUR is an excellent starting point for you – especially because it’s free!
The process only takes a few minutes – you can complete the online form here.
Be sure to select Kennesaw State University from the drop-down menu next to "Select Institution" so that you will not have to pay the membership fee. If you get to the end and you’re asked to pay a fee, it means you did not select Kennesaw State University as the institution.
