Chemical Hygiene & Safety Program

This Chemical Hygiene and Safety Program (CHSP) manual is intended to serve as the primary resource to KSU's laboratory personnel and students by providing information on policies, procedures and tools relating to laboratories safety at KSU. The program is written to reflect the requirements and guidelines of federal and state regulations, industry standards and best practices. The PI’s and laboratory supervisors/managers should supplement this information with laboratory safety training, instruction and guidance regarding specific practices and procedures unique to the work being done in their individual laboratories. This Program manual will be reviewed and revised as necessary, and at least annually.
